A great collection of minimalist ads. As an art director, one approach of selling is using a visual approach. It takes a great idea and craft to create an ad that visually sells the product/brand. When it comes to using a minimalist technique, the simple visuals must deliver a clear message and speak to you with little/to no copy.

Don’t care what you say, I like the Duracell Pink Rabbits better than its Energizer rival. I think they have more personality and they were the first battery-representing rabbits; up until Energizer created the Bunny drummer.

Also check out the updated rabbits in Ogilvy France’s “Bunny Fusion” spot  that aired in 2009.

When you look at something from a different perspective, it can kindle a new idea.

This print ad for Whiskas was made by Lew´Lara\TBWA, Brazil. So simple, but a great way to visually demonstrate Whiskas’ message.

This print campaign was created by Saatchi & Saatchi, Cape Town, South Africa.

I like how the typographic treatments in these ads convey a retro look. Although, I initially thought of a vintage boxing poster first. But hey, different market right?

Print ad for Endangered Wildlife Trust in South Africa. These ads were done by TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris. When I saw these I got them right away. It’s simple, to the point, and it simplifies the situation in simple visuals. Great idea.

Came across this poster for the Budapest Zoo, Allatkert. This print ad was made by Hungarian ad agency, Prohome. Kudos to the illustrator, Kála Czupi, on creating this marvelous art. Take a close look, there’s many things to discover.

This print ad was created by ad agency, Target, for Universal Barber Shop in St. John’s, NL.

Print ad for Alberta Office of Traffic Safety, done by Calder Bateman Communications. First off, the design of the type is just marvelous; the detailed designs and everything. I’m also curious to know whether or not that patch was digitally made, or actually sewn together?
